I was giving the oil away from free, since I was growing plants in my own backyard, while I was still in Canada, until 2009, when the Royal Canadian Mounted Police did the final raid at my home. Since 2013 I no longer live in Canada. I can return to Canada any time I like, and as far as I know no police agencies are looking for me. Canada is truly a beautiful country and there are many good people within its boundaries. Due to the criminal record that the Canadian government gave me, I can not enter the U.S. So, I do not live in U.S., as many people seem to believe. Since 2013 I have been based in
Europe.
On countless occasions I’ve told the public that I don’t produce or supply the oil, because it is still against the law in many countries and I am not connected with anyone who claims that they are supplying “Rick Simpson Oil”. Unfortunately, it’s impossible for me to put a stop to all those who supply what they say is my oil, but at least now the public knows the truth, so please be aware of this fact.
I do not have representatives who provide the oil in different countries and if somebody is trying to sell you oil and they claim that they are directly connected with me, you can be sure that they are trying to scam you. There are many individuals and organisations who say that they are producing my oil and in addition they do not hesitate to use my name to fill their pockets, but I have no involvement with any of them. It is my hope that what I am telling the public, will make them think twice about trying to acquire oil from others, who could very well be nothing more than con artists. At this time there are countless people who say that they are producing my oil and often they claim to be directly connected with me, but in reality there is no truth in what they are telling you. These people are making claims such as this, so it will be easier for them to sell their oils, but I have no involvement with any of them and often what they supply has little or no medical value at all.
I am not connected with any foundation, and I have no connection with the Phoenix Tears Foundation from the U.S. and Janet Rosendahl Sweeney, although there is a link on their web site which leads to my official web site and to my Facebook page. This lady is using my name like many others.
The public must come to realise that at present there are no standards or quality control in place and the only way to know that you have the real thing, is to produce the proper oils yourself.
